A fun project with a lot of latex. Even wiggles as you walk to "dance". Set up with a bluetooth speaker in the flower pot so you can jam out to the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack.
​
We used the same process for latex as we have in previous projects. The original mold was made from clay, then we cast it in plaster. Next came creating pouring the latex and fixing any issues with the cast. We had painting help from Tina Gospodinova. Finally the painted Groot was mount on sturdy foam and details were added to finish. Finally, Groot was mounted with magnets in a flower pot that we had set up with a bluetooth speaker.
